Andrés Siri
He is an architect from the University of Buenos Aires and holds a Master's degree in communication and art criticisim from the UdG Foundation. He has always been involved in teaching at the University of Buenos Aires or giving workshops, working and producing festivals.
The development of each new artistic project allows him to research, experiment and deepen contents relating different disciplines. Territories that move between art, architecture, photography, archeology or history. These boundaries are blurred for the sole purpose of constructing a story that finds its own narrative voice.
Works carried out in Rome related to historical events such as the Second World War, on the walls of an aqueduct on the outskirts, have to a certain extent, a similar resonance in the neighborhood of Les Pedreres in Girona. Project that has currently developed by investigating the relationship of the landscape, physical boundaries and their margins. Immigration and historical facts, or elements referenced in other works such as time and memory.

HABITAR EL VENT
Una capella, una casa, una ermita, una cabanya, un refugi, un fort o una barraca. Una estructura precària de canyes hoste de la naturalesa. El vent la posseeix, la inunda, l'envaeix, s'apropia d'ella. La seva pertinença està en l'altre. En el vent, en la pluja i en el camí. Només pot ser el seu lloc l'estar en camí.
El vent és un sinònim de peregrinació i de la fugacitat de les coses. Caminar amb el vent seria una forma singular d'habitar. Paisatge en l'Extrem orient significa aspecte del vent. Així el paisatge perd la fixació inherent a la terra, i rep el caràcter d'alguna cosa que flueix o que es vessa.
La instal·lació Habitar el vent no es queda ancorada a un lloc concret. Discorre com el vent i es barreja amb el paisatge canviant, fins a gairebé desaparèixer en ella. Fent a penes perceptible la seva presència segueix la línia ondulant del mur de pedra de la mina d'aigua, entre fileres d'oliveres, brots i ceps, fonolls i figueres.
Instal·lació efímera construïda amb 200 canyes de riu (Arundo donax).
